Job summary

Mary Grace Foods, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, ensuring timely and courteous service with consistent food quality.

You will assist with staff management, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations; ensure health and safety compliance; handle customer complaints; and drive inventory control and cost management to help meet financial goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Hotel and Restaurant Management, or equivalent.
• With proven experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a casual dining restaurant.
• Physically able to perform duties that may involve lifting, prolonged standing, and working on a shifting schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist Restaurant Manager in day-to-day operations and ensure efficient service.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, customer service and cleanliness.
• Assist with staff management: hiring, training, scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Resolve customer complaints and implement operational improvements.
• Manage inventory, monitor costs and contribute to achieving financial goals.
