Job summary

SM Development Corporation is seeking a qualified property and facilities manager to oversee daily operations, lead site engineers, and ensure budgetary and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety procedures, client/tenant relations, and continuous improvement across building systems and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Management Engineering, Building Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in property, facilities, or building management.
• Strong knowledge of building management regulations, National Building Code, safety, emergency preparedness, and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage client concerns and stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and property financial management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience in building operations, maintenance programs, and contractor management.
• Proven leadership experience in supervising technical teams and site personnel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations and ensure efficient facility management.
• Lead and supervise site engineers, technical teams, and support staff.
• Manage property budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
• Implement and enforce safety, security, and emergency procedures.
