Job summary

Talent Team Services Pty is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with an electrical background to support planning, coordination, and delivery of HVAC installations in Cebu. The role links site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, clients and internal teams to ensure projects meet safety, quality, schedule and budget targets.

The ideal candidate will have experience in construction/HVAC, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office and project documentation processes.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• Background as an Electrician, Electrical Engineer, or similar electrical role.
• Experience supporting construction, HVAC, or project delivery activities.
• Strong coordination, organization, prioritization and follow-up.
• Working knowledge of construction processes, drawings, specifications, quality controls, and project records.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, correspondence, variations, and progress reports.
• Ability to coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, clients and internal teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication; maintain accurate, traceable project records.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project/document control systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and delivering HVAC installation projects safely, on time, to the required quality and within approved commercial parameters.
• Act as a coordination link between site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, clients and internal AMS functions.
• Assist with project programmes, look-ahead planning, labour and material coordination, procurement and delivery tracking.
• Maintain RFIs, submittals, shop drawing approvals, correspondence, meeting actions, variation records and progress reports.
• Monitor project progress, costs, commitments, lead times, quality requirements, safety obligations, risks and unresolved issues.
• Support equipment selections, technical data review, supplier engagement and document distribution.
• Assist with commissioning, practical completion, defects close-out, O&M manuals and final handover evidence.
• Attend site and project meetings, record actions and follow up assigned items to closure.

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

• Background as an Electrician, Electrical Engineer, or in a similar electrical role.

• Experience supporting construction, HVAC, or project delivery activities is advantageous.

• Strong project coordination, organisation, prioritisation, and follow-up skills.

• Working knowledge of construction processes, drawings, specifications, quality controls, and project records.

• Experience with project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, correspondence, variations, and progress reports.

• Ability to coordinate effectively with site supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, clients, and internal teams.

• Experience tracking labour, materials, equipment, costs, lead times, approvals, risks, and programme impacts.

• Competence in Microsoft Office and applicable project management, document control, and cost tracking systems.
