The Assistant Processing Supervisor is responsible for supervising each area in each processing section in ensuring the complete and proper processing of raw materials needed to facilitate production.
Delegates responsibilities and daily instructions, checks attendance of the processing staff and supervises processing staff assigned to each processing room and/or areas.
Supervises and checks the receiving of raw materials from warehouse to ensure correct quantity and quality of all materials needed to be processed.
Assists in periodic cycle counts and month end inventory including the monitoring of daily excess raw materials in each processing room.
Supervises the maintenance, cleanliness, and orderliness of each processing section, ensuring its hygienic condition to avoid contamination.
Monitors each processing area, facilities, and equipment to accomplish job order request once needed.
Verifies all monitoring checklists to ensure timely recording of data critical to food safety to permit investigation (traceability) into the history of any product.
Monitors completion and proper preparation of all raw materials from each processing sections and ensure accomplishment of monitoring forms to record results of activities to ease traceability results.
Verifies release raw materials and coordinates with warehouse supervisor to avoid shortage of supplies resulting to unserved orders.
Focuses the team on the tasks at hand, maintains healthy group dynamics and takes responsibility for the team’s performance.
Supports the learning of a new team member by acting as a buddy to equip the member with the knowledge needed to execute the job satisfactorily.
Reports concern food safety incidences to facilitate proper and immediate resolution.
Reports food safety incidences to superiors to intervene against actual or suspected threats and protect consumer’s interest and business integrity. Performs job related functions as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Must be a Trade or Vocational School Graduate/ College Level. With TESDA Warehouse Services Training and other related food manufacturing experiences highly preferred but not required.
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a Team Lead/Supervisory position in a food manufacturing/ production line. An equivalent combination of training and experience indicating possession of the succeeding knowledge and abilities may substitute for the education and experience requisites.
Willing to report onsite at Merville, Parañaque City.
