University Home Lacson is seeking an Operations Coordinator in Manila to support planning, coordination, and monitoring of daily operations and projects. You will assist in site coordination, documentation, procurement, and compliance with safety standards.
The role requires 2–4 years in operations or related fields, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with multiple departments. Office software proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.
1. Operations Management
Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily company operations.
Support the Operations Manager in implementing operational policies, procedures, and systems.
Monitor the progress of ongoing projects and operational activities.
Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Identify operational issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
2. Project and Site Coordination
Assist in monitoring construction projects, site activities, schedules, and manpower requirements.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Follow up on project requirements, materials, permits, documents, and other operational concerns.
Conduct site visits when necessary to monitor progress and address operational issues.
Ensure that project activities are aligned with company standards and approved schedules.
3. Administrative and Documentation
Assist in preparing operational reports, schedules, monitoring sheets, and other management reports.
Ensure that permits, contracts, project documents, and operational records are properly maintained.
Monitor deadlines and follow up on pending requirements.
Assist in coordinating with government offices, utility providers, contractors, and other external parties.
4. Personnel and Resource Coordination
Assist in monitoring manpower deployment, attendance, and work assignments.
Coordinate the availability and proper allocation of equipment, vehicles, materials, and other resources.
Assist in addressing employee or operational concerns that may affect productivity.
Promote compliance with company policies and workplace procedures.
5. Procurement and Supplier Coordination
Coordinate with the Purchasing/Procurement team regarding operational requirements.
Monitor delivery schedules and availability of materials and supplies.
Assist in evaluating supplier and contractor performance.
Follow up on purchase orders and outstanding deliveries when necessary.
6. Monitoring and Reporting
Prepare regular operational updates for management.
Monitor project and department performance against established targets.
Track pending activities and ensure timely follow-up.
Report operational problems, delays, risks, and recommendations to the Operations Manager.
7. Compliance and Safety
Help ensure compliance with company policies, project requirements, government regulations, and applicable safety standards.
Assist in monitoring proper implementation of safety and operational procedures.
Immediately escalation significant operational, safety, or compliance concerns to management.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
At least 2–4 years of experience in operations, project coordination, construction, administration, or a related position.
Experience in the construction and property development industry is an advantage.
Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
Willing to conduct site visits and coordinate with external parties.
Able to work independently while maintaining close coordination with management and other departments.
