The Assistant Manager – Talent & Culture is responsible for leading the HR Talent & Culture function, covering talent experience and enablement, talent development and performance, employee engagement, culture transformation, competency management, succession planning, employee relations, labor relations, and related HR transformation initiatives. The role provides functional oversight and direction to the Talent Development & Performance Supervisor and the Experience, Talent & Safety Support HR Associate to ensure integrated execution of talent, culture, engagement, performance, learning, succession, employee relations, and wellness support programs that contribute to a high-performing, engaged, and future-ready workforce.
Provide overall functional leadership for HR Talent & Culture, ensuring alignment of programs with HR strategy, business priorities, and the approved HR functional structure
Ensure clear role delineation and coordination between Talent Development & Performance and Experience, Talent & Safety Support to avoid duplication and promote integrated HR service delivery
Design and implement employee experience, culture-building, engagement, and recognition initiatives aligned with company values and strategic priorities
Lead employee listening programs including engagement surveys, pulse surveys, focus group discussions, and employee feedback channels
Analyze engagement, employee sentiment, and retention indicators and recommend action plans to address employee experience concerns and opportunities
Lead competency mapping, competency assessment, talent review, succession planning, and career pathing frameworks
Provide functional oversight to performance management, goal setting and calibration, IDP governance, learning roadmaps, core competency building, AI readiness, leadership development, and emerging talent programs
Manage employee concerns, grievances, investigations, and disciplinary cases
Provide guidance to managers on employee relations issues and policy interpretation
Participate in competency development, AI readiness, leadership pipeline, and workforce transformation initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field
At least 5–7 years of relevant HR experience, with solid exposure to Talent Management, Employee Experience/Engagement, and Employee Relations
At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity is preferred
Experience in competency management, succession planning, employee engagement programs, and culture initiatives
Experience in HR projects, change management, process improvement, or HR digitalization is an advantage
