Job summary

Kura Cafe is looking for a hands-on and results-driven Cafe and Restaurant Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations and lead the team. The role focuses on ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, team performance, and store profitability.

It requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage people and systems effectively. You will supervise staff, implement SOPs, monitor sales and expenses, coordinate with kitchen and procurement, and support

• Experience in cafe/restaurant management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the cafe and restaurant.

• Train, guide, and discipline staff when necessary.
• Handle employee disciplinary actions in accordance with policy and DOLE standards.

The Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, team performance, and overall store profitability. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage both people and systems effectively.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the cafe and restaurant

• Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and overall performance

• Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer concerns

• Monitor sales, expenses, and daily reports

• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, baker and procurement for smooth operations

• Ensure proper implementation of SOPs, cleanliness, and food safety standards

• Handle inventory coordination and minimize wastage/losses

• Supervise cash handling and ensure accuracy of transactions

• Train, guide, and discipline staff when necessary

• Handle employee disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy and DOLE standards (including issuance of NTE and NOD when required)

• Support hiring, onboarding, and team development
