Job summary

APL Logistics Ltd in the Philippines seeks an Advisor for Process Improvement & Innovation to lead regional projects across Asia, driving continuous improvements and implementing global standards. The role collaborates with ROE, GBS centers, and global counterparts to identify and execute efficiency initiatives.

The candidate will mentor teams, monitor KPIs, and ensure profitability metrics are achieved through root-cause analysis and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of proven project management and continuous improvement experience.
• Experience in order to cash process improvement and cross-cultural environments.
• Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills with the ability to influence.
• Formal qualification in project management, process improvement, Lean Six Sigma and analytic tools is advantageous.
• MOST certification or time-motion practitioner experience is a plus.
• Experience with BI tools and BI systems like Power BI, Tableau, SAP or similar is an added advantage.
• Deep understanding of continuous improvement frameworks (LEAN, 6 Sigma, Agile, Scrum) and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead rollout of transformation solutions within the assigned region.
• Facilitate business improvements from Order to Cash to improve KPIs and productivity.
• Coordinate with global counterparts on business improvement strategies.
• Drive standardization and compliance to the global blueprint.
• Work with ROE directors and GBS centers to identify improvement projects.
• Establish metrics to monitor profitability and revenue analysis.
• Dive deep to recommend and own root-cause solutions.
• Study customer escalations and understand operation imperfections.
• Manage day-to-day analysis and optimization of business processes.
• Create metrics and audits to sustain process improvements.
• Coordinate studies of data and align processes with IT, docs, and financial flows.
• Partner with business teams to resolve upstream issues affecting customer experience.
• Lead internal efficiency and productivity initiatives.
• Document AS-IS processes and define TO-BE processes aligned with global target model.
• Standardize logistics processes to meet APLL targets.
