Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Area Head for Single Carrier Landside Operations with responsibility for end-to-end dispatch, shipment planning, and carrier assignment. The role oversees container movement, timely deliveries, and exception management to ensure revenue integrity and SLA compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate, ideally Finance and Accounting.
• Speak Spanish (preferably) and English.
• Minimum 10–12 years in operations, shipping container and logistics or freight forwarder industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end dispatch operations including shipment planning and carrier assignment.
• Oversee container movement monitoring and timely delivery to customer locations.
• Handle exception management: vendor disputes, charge approvals, and operational issues.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce disruptions and improve process efficiency.
• Lead and coach a high-energy team with an owner’s mindset, ensuring SLA compliance and productivity.
