Job summary

Maersk is a global logistics leader seeking a Single Carrier Landside Senior Specialist (Spanish Speaker) based in Pasig City. You will manage end-to-end dispatch operations across truck, rail, and barge networks, ensuring timely delivery and responsive service to customers.

You will back up the team leader, identify inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvements while coordinating with customers, carriers, and terminal operators.

Qualifications

• Graduate, ideally Finance and Accounting.
• Should be able to speak and write Spanish and English.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in shipping industry (prefer landside).
• Must be willing to work onsite in Pasig City; Full night shift schedule.
• Technical skills: MS Office tools, SAP BI, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Be the POC for the team and backup to the team leader.
• Identify wastages in the process, streamline and drive continuous improvements.
• Coordinate end-to-end container dispatch operations across truck, rail, and barge networks, ensuring timely execution and service delivery.
• Manage daily interactions with customers, carriers, terminal operators, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and exceptions.
• Monitor shipment and container movements, proactively identifying risks and driving timely corrective actions.
• Ensure achievement of customer service commitments through effective planning, communication, and exception management.
• Deliver a customer-centric experience by addressing inquiries and managing expectations.
• Maintain accurate operational records, system updates, and documentation for visibility, compliance, and process integrity.
• Oversee accessorial costs, equipment utilization, container idling, and related approvals to drive efficiency.
• Foster strong stakeholder partnerships, support cross-functional team objectives, and contribute to continuous process and vendor performance improvement.
