Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Area Head for Single Carrier Landside Operations—Mexico, based in Pasig. Lead end-to-end dispatch activities, plan shipments, assign carriers, monitor containers, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring timely deliveries and revenue integrity.

You will coordinate with partners globally, manage a highly energized team, and work night shifts onsite in Pasig, Philippines. Fluency in English is required, Spanish preferred, with extensive experience in shipping operations.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in the shipping industry, preferably landside.
• Minimum 3 years of team leadership experience.
• Willingness to work full night shift; onsite in Pasig City.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end dispatch operations: shipment planning, carrier assignment, container movement monitoring, on-time delivery.
• Oversee exception management: vendor disputes, charge approvals, operational disruptions mitigation.
• Drive continuous improvement to eliminate recurring disruptions and enhance process efficiency.
• Maintain strong process controls to prevent revenue leakage and ensure SLA compliance.
• Coordinate with Business Partners and other teams; participate in contingency testing.
