Job summary

Revaya seeks an organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to support the financial operations of a residential property management portfolio. You will handle resident payments, posting, reconciliations, billing, and a high volume of transactions while keeping accurate records.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Accounting, excel proficiency, and experience with AR processes. Knowledge of Yardi is a plus; you will assist with reporting and liaise with collections teams to resolve delinquencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience in accounts receivable or accounting, preferably in property management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office 365; experience with Yardi is a plus.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable processes, including cash applications, payment posting, and account reconciliation.
• Experience handling high-volume transactions, researching payment discrepancies, and following up on past-due accounts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain accurate financial records and interact professionally with residents.

Responsibilities

• Handling cash applications, reconciliations, payment posting, and high-volume transactions.
• Post, verify, and record customer payments and AR-related activity.
• Collaborate with AR Manager to reconcile accounts receivable periodically.
• Prepare financial reports from data collection, analysis, and summarization.
• Assist in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger.
• Assist Accounting Manager in reconciling bank accounts monthly.
• Create and organize AR materials; retrieve documents as needed.
• Generate reports on current resident account statuses.
