Job summary

KMC Solutions is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to maintain receivables records and process invoices for its diverse client base. The role emphasizes daily reconciliation, accurate invoicing, and applying payments to customer accounts.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting and at least two years of AR experience, with knowledge of Oracle NetSuite and MS Office, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Two or more years accounts receivable experience.
• General understanding of basic accounting practices and principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers and customers.
• Experience and understanding of Oracle NetSuite and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance and reconciliation of all customer account balances.
• Verify the accuracy of and send out customer invoices for goods and services.
• Accurately apply customer payments to accounts based on customer remittances.
• Prepare periodic reports of accounts receivable balances and provide to management.
• Prepare and send periodic customer account statements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the collection process for past due accounts.
• Maintain contact with all customers to ensure timely collection of payments; delinquent customers to remediate past due balances.
• Process and apply customer credits.
• Work with internal staff and customers to resolve account discrepancies.
