Job Summary: We plan to hire a confident and persuasive Outbound Cold Caller and Appointment Setter to drive new business with US-based architecture, engineering, and construction firms. You'll call prospects from the lead lists we provide, qualify them on the call, book meetings for our team, and follow up by email to keep opportunities moving forward. We're picturing someone with a strong American accent, a proven ability to persuade US B2B buyers, and the adaptability to learn quickly from scripts and call recordings.
Key Responsibilities
- Make high-volume outbound cold calls to US architecture, engineering, and construction firms, including data center, BIM, plant and process engineering, HVAC, piping, plumbing, and civil engineering companies
- Qualify prospects during each call to confirm fit, need, and decision-making authority before booking
- Schedule qualified meetings for the internal team and keep calendar details accurate
- Send professional follow-up and confirmation emails from a company email account
- Work systematically through client-provided lead lists and keep call outcomes updated
- Study call recordings and scripts to refine your pitch, objection handling, and messaging
- Track daily call activity, conversations, and booked meetings against agreed targets
- Share feedback on lead quality and script performance to help improve conversion
Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience in outbound cold calling or appointment setting for US B2B companies
- Strong American accent with clear, natural, and confident spoken English
- Ability to qualify prospects on the call and handle objections persuasively
- Experience booking meetings and handling follow-up by email
- Comfortable using lead lists, dialers, or softphone systems
- Adaptable and coachable, able to absorb scripts and recordings and put feedback to work quickly
- Diligent, accurate, and self-reliant
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience calling into the architecture, engineering, or construction industry
- Familiarity with technical terms such as BIM, HVAC, piping, or plant and process engineering
- Background as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or in lead generation
- Experience logging calls and tracking pipeline in CRM tools
- Comfortable working toward call volume and meeting KPIs
- Ability to manage multiple lead lists and follow-up threads side by side
