Job summary

Rebisco Group in the Philippines is seeking an Alternative Ingredients Associate to help source and evaluate alternative raw materials for product development. You will document results, conduct sample testing, and provide technical support under the guidance of the Alternative Ingredients Supervisor.

The role requires a degree in a scientific field, 1-3 years in a food company, willingness to travel, and readiness to be based in Novaliches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology or equivalent).
• 1–3 years in a food company; R&D, technical support or documentation roles preferred.
• Willing to travel; physically fit to work and travel.
• Familiarity with food testing procedures, documentation practices, and basic regulatory compliance; Laboratory and formulation assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and evaluating alternative raw materials for product development.
• Document results, manage sample testing, and provide technical support under supervision.
• Support formulation and quality documentation across projects.

Role Overview:

Primary Function: We’re looking for an Alternative Ingredients Associate to join our team and make an impact by assisting in the sourcing, evaluation of alternative raw materials used in product development and optimization initiatives. In this role, you will ensure proper documentation, sample testing, and technical support across projects under the supervision of the Alternative Ingredients Supervisor.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or an equivalent scientific discipline
• At least 1-3 years in a Food company. Research and Development, Technical Support, or documentation-related role is preferred
• Physically fit to work and travel
• Familiarity with food testing procedures, documentation practices, and basic regulatory complianceWith skills in Laboratory and Formulation Assistance
• Basic understanding of Food Safety and Quality Systems
• Willing to be based in Novaliches
