Job summary

Job Description

• Process room and restaurant reservations through various channels such as emails, telephone, or central reservation systems.
  
• Handles room and restaurant reservations from sales offices, other hotel departments, and travel agents,
  
• Determines room rates based on hotel selling tactics and policies.
  
• Handles cancellations and modifications promptly and accurately.
  
• Tracks room availabilities and assists in developing room revenue and occupancy forecast.
  
• Prepares expected arrival list and assists in pre registrations activities.
  
• Handles daily correspondence and responds to inquiries promptly.
  
• Maintains comprehensive knowledge of reservation procedures and departmental standards.
  
• Coordinates wake up call requirements with relevant hotel departments.
  
• Familiarizes oneself with PABX and hotel systems/ applications.
  
• Provides accurate information about hotel facilities, F&B outlets, and events to guests.
  
• Possess knowledge of available room types, their location, layout, rates, packages, and promotions.
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in Reservations or Call center roles within the hotel industry is advantageous,
  
• Have knowledge of hotel facilities and services.
  
• Initiative, organized and detail-oriented; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Good command of both written and spoken English; knowledge of another foreign language is an advantage.
