Job summary

Canon Business Service Centre Philippines is seeking an Accounts Receivable professional to manage customer relations, resolve billing queries, and ensure timely payments. The role includes data entry, project participation, and team collaboration to meet deadlines.

You’ll maintain professional communication, support process improvements, and adapt to daytime hours with occasional overtime or holiday work.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role.
• Good understanding of Accounts Receivable and related financial operations.
• Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
• Experience in leading a team and delivering results.
• Proven competence in MS applications: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to work daytime hours with possible extra hours and occasional holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional communication with internal and external customers to support excellent service.
• Resolve billing and debt queries efficiently and inform customers of delays when needed; own resolution until closed and SLA targets are met.
• Ensure payments are allocated to customer accounts within SLA and perform daily allocations.
• Enter manual billing forms into the billing system daily and follow up on missing AR19 forms.
• Participate in systems and business projects that interface with Billing and Credit systems to support initiatives.
• Assist the Manager and Accounts Receivable and Group Finance teams to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Keep AR practices current, identify inefficiencies, and advocate improvements; monitor procedures and system processes.
• Be prepared to work daytime hours with possible additional time and occasional holidays.
