Job summary

Rex Education in the Philippines seeks an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our finance team and help ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and reliable financial reporting. You will process invoices, post payments, maintain customer records, support month-end closing, and contribute to process improvements that optimize cash flow and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, Finance, or a related business course.
• Preferably at least two years of relevant experience in billing, accounts receivable, collection accounting, customer reconciliation, or a related finance role.
• Knowledge in billing and invoicing; Statements of Account; payment posting and allocation; AR aging; customer reconciliation; credit terms; basic collection processes; ERP or accounting systems; spreadsheet-based analysis; audit documentation and confidentiality.
• Understanding of order-to-cash flow, customer account management, credit and collection coordination, revenue and receivables controls, and the effect of billing accuracy, DSO, and collection efficiency on liquidity and customer service

Responsibilities

• Prepare and validate invoices, billing documents, adjustments, and Statements of Account
• Post and apply customer payments accurately and resolve unmatched collections
• Maintain Accounts Receivable records, customer accounts, and aging schedules
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate variances, disputed items, and outstanding balances
• Monitor overdue accounts, perform collection follow-ups, and elevate issues as needed
• Prepare AR aging, billing, collection, and reconciliation reports
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to resolve billing and account concerns
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities and audit requirements
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance billing and collection efficiency
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior
