Job summary

CTT.Synergy Corporation in Manila is seeking an Accounts Payable Team Lead to oversee daily AP operations, supervise AP specialists, and ensure timely, accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.

You will guide the team through 3-way matching, month-end accruals, audits, and reporting, while driving process improvements and automation initiatives. The role requires a degree in Accountancy and 1–2 years in supervisory accounting, with strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Accountancy or equivalent.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience in Accounting/Finance.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger, double-entry accounting, accruals, and PO cycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of AP specialists and assign daily workloads.
• Manage full-cycle AP: 3-way matching, payment runs, and GL coding verification.
• Handle month-end accruals, reconciliations, aging reviews, and audit requests.

About the role

An Accounts Payable Team Lead oversees the daily operations of the accounts payable department, managing AP specialists while ensuring timely, accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Guide, train, and support AP specialists; assign daily workflows, monitor performance, and assist with complex invoice exceptions
• Oversee full-cycle AP operations, including 3-way matching (POs, receipts, invoices), payment run approvals (ACH, wire, check), and GL coding verification
• Manage AP month-end accruals, ledger reconciliations, aging report reviews, and support reporting and external audit requests
• Handle escalated vendor disputes, manage key supplier relationships, and coordinate across internal departments
• Identify bottlenecks in invoice routing or payment workflows and assist in automation initiatives (e.g., OCR implementation, ERP upgrades)

About you

• Graduate of Accountancy or equal
• At least 1-2 years of experience working in Accounting or Finance in supervisory level
• Strong understanding of general ledger, double-entry accounting, accruals, and purchase order cycles
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data reconciliation) for aging and variance analysis
• Strong analytical skills, data-driven, and strong communication skills
• Keen on details and can provide accurate and timely reports
• Experience in utilizing and navigating software tools such as MS Office and other related software tools
• Experience in handling a team of Finance staff
• Clear cross-functional communication and conflict-resolution abilities to manage both internal teams and external vendor relationships
