Job summary

MetroMart is seeking an on-site Accounting/Finance Clerk in Makati to support billing, reconciliation, and cash applications. You will check emails for billing, prepare deposits, and assist with audit-ready records as part of a fast-paced finance team.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting or related field, has experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Excel, and can communicate clearly with internal teams and merchants in a dynamic on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• Prior experience in accounting, finance, or accounts payable.
• Familiarity with billing, collections and cash applications.
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Basic accounting principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Accounts receivable certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check emails for billing and reconciliation.
• Reconciliation of accounts and sales.
• Audit sales reconciliation.
• Prepare deposit slips for bank deposits.
• Send deposit slips to merchants.
• File and sort vouchers for paid merchants.
• Update corporate card balances daily.
• Handle other billing files as assigned.

In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Check emails for billing and reconciliation
• Reconciliation
• Audit Sales reconciliation
• Prepares deposit slip for bank deposit
• Sending deposit slip to merchant
• Filing/sorting voucher of paid merchants
• Update corporate card balance every morning
• Handles other billing file
• Other tasks may be assigned by the management from time to time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
• Previous experience in accounting, finance, or accounts payable
• Familiarity with billing, collections, and cash applications.
• Knowledge is accounting software (Quickbooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Proficiency in Excel or Google sheets
• Basic accounting principles
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Certification in account receivable may be preferred but not required.
