Job summary

BCM One is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our in-house global finance team. You will audit invoices, manage workflows, and work with the Revenue Assurance team to ensure timely payments and accurate billing across multiple products and services.

The role requires a night shift and a hybrid office setup in the Philippines, with collaboration across international teams. You will gain exposure to major ERP systems and develop strong vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance from a reputable college or university.
• Willing to be flexible with work hours to accommodate international needs.
• Must work night shift.
• 2–5 years of demonstrated experience managing invoice payments or an accounts payable portfolio.
• Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Familiar with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Exposure to Billing OSS, QuickBooks, SAPFICO, Oracle ERP, etc.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify invoices for high-volume transactions with minimal supervision.
• Process vendor invoices through the payment workflow and validate charges.
• Identify charges for Revenue Assurance review for customer billing.
• File disputes and follow up with vendors to ensure credits/refunds.
• Record payable transactions and ensure correct GL coding.
• Reconcile vendor accounts per audit requests.
• Validate new charges with research and cross-department queries.
• Notify supervisor of due dates and ensure approvals 7 business days before due date.
• Collaborate with Revenue Assurance on new invoices/charges for payment.
• Handle vendor inquiries and maintain vendor relationships.
• Enter credit card charges in the accounting tool weekly/monthly.
• Extract vendor invoices from vendor sites and submit per bill drop schedule.
• Create new BAN accounts for invoices in the system.
• Pay invoices via online or phone and log transactions.

Position Overview:

BCM One is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing, in-house, global finance team. This position will work collaboratively with international team members in the USA to provide administrative and clerical support by auditing invoices for billing accuracy, following workflows, reviewing reports, performing daily application management tasks, and working with the Manager on cross-functional projects to reduce costs and ensure invoices are paid timely. In this position, you will have the opportunity to experience the full life cycle of the AP process for multiple products and services.

Work Locations:

This position will be hybrid based out of our office in Makati City, Philippines. We are typically in the office 3 days per week with WFH the other 2 days. This is subject to change based on the demands of the position and company. This position must live and be authorized to work in the Philippines; it is not eligible for relocation or sponsorship.

Hours:

Night Shift - 9pm to 6am local. (9am to 6pm Eastern US business hours.)

What You Will Do:

• Receive and verify invoices for accounts with high-volume transactions/business processes with minimal supervision.
• Processes Vendor invoices through the Payment System Workflow validating charges to be accurate.
• Identifies charges that need to be passed through to the Revenue Assurance Team for customer billing.
• Files and records vendor disputes and follows up with vendors on a timely basis to ensure credit/refunds.
• Timely recording of all payable transactions, including verification and accuracy of GL coding into accounting tool.
• Reconcile vendor accounts per audit request.
• Performs the validation of new charges with the help of research and information requests to other departments.
• Informs and notifies the Supervisor about due dates on invoices and makes sure invoices are submitted for approval at least 7 business days before the due date to ensure timely payment.
• Work with other departments such as the Revenue Assurance team in determining new invoices/charges for payment.
• Handle vendor concerns and inquiries while sustaining vendor relationships.
• Enter credit card charges in the accounting tool in a weekly/monthly basis.
• Manual pull out of vendor invoices from vendor website and submit it to vendor/payment system workflow in accordance with its bill drop schedule.
• Create new BAN accounts in the vendor/payment system / accounting tool for new invoices.
• Pay invoices via online or phone call and record the transactions in the accounting tool in accordance with the schedule.
• Other duties as required.

What You Will Need:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance related course from a reputable college or university.
• Willing to be flexible with work hours to accommodate international needs.
• Must work night shift.
• 2 - 5 years of demonstrated experience managing invoice payments or an accounts payable portfolio.
• Strong organizational skills to effectively assist with adherence to deadlines, attention to detail and strong problem solving and decision-making.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• A strong attention to detail and the ability to complete job duties with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent Customer Service skills required, including the ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.
• Exposure to Billing OSS, QuickBooks, API Order tool, SAPFICO, Oracle ERP, etc. preferred.
• Enjoy working collaboratively with a team.
