Job summary

Arvin International Marketing Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Payables Supervisor to oversee daily AP operations, ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, and lead the AP team in maintaining efficient and compliant processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, 5+ years in accounting with at least 3+ years in a supervisory position, and strong knowledge of AP procedures, SAP/ERP, and Philippine taxation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3+ years in a supervisory role, preferably in Accounts Payable.
• Strong knowledge of AP, invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, and payment processes.
• SAP/ERP experience is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Philippine taxation and statutory compliance is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, validation, recording, and payment.
• Review AP aging, vendor reconciliations, and payment schedules.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of expenses, liabilities, and supplier transactions.
• Review payment requests and ensure proper approvals and supporting documents.
• Resolve vendor invoice and payment discrepancies.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing and account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and Philippine tax requirements.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Treasury, auditors, and suppliers as needed.
• Lead, coach, and monitor the performance of the AP team.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase AP efficiency and accuracy.
