Job summary

D&V Philippines Outsourcing, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead accounting, payroll, and month-end processes in a hybrid setup in the Philippines. You will manage tasks across AP, AR, tax, and intercompany activities, ensuring accurate reporting to directors and clients.

The role requires 3+ years in accounting/management reporting, proficiency in Xero and AU tax compliance, and strong communication. Training and client-facing duties may be included as needed.

Qualifications

• CPA or non-CPA with at least 3 years of experience in accounting and management reporting.
• Proficient with Xero and AU Tax Compliance.
• Has experience to review and evaluate tasks of other team members.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a highly automated environment with strict monthly reporting deadlines.
• Willing to extend beyond immediate assignment demands and take new responsibilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Experience working with clients globally is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bills Payment: process expense claims/payments, match credit card expense accounts, and allocate payments to entities.
• Payroll checking: follow up mileage claim approvals, submit mileage claims to payroll, and reconcile mileage payments.
• Payroll Tax and work cover: payment of payroll tax and management of workcover policy (enrolment and payment).
• EOM duties: prepayments, pro-bono income, RC accruals, room hire invoices, wages, bad debt, intercompany invoices, rent, and reporting to Directors.

Job Title:

• Accounting Supervisor (AU)

Work Setup & Schedule:

• Hybrid

• 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM

• Onsite schedule based on client approved frequency

• May be required to report onsite during training sessions or company activities, subject to the discretion of both the Client and/or D&V Management.

What you’ll be doing:

• Bills Payment

  • Process expense claims / payments

  • Match credit card expense accounts

  • Payment of outgoing bills (and correct allocation to each entity)

• Payroll checking

  • Follow up mileage claim approvals

  • Submit mileage claims to payroll

  • Double check payroll mileage payments against report

  • Reconcile mileage claim payment

• Payroll Tax and work cover

  • Payment of payroll tax

  • Workcover policy management (enrolment and payment)

• EOM

  • Prepayments

  • Pro-bono income

  • RC Accruals

  • Room Hire invoices

  • Wages

  • Bad debt

• Operations

  • Handles review and evaluation of tasks performed by assigned direct reports.

  • Performs detailed work which cannot be delegated to other junior staff members.

  • Assists in other technical projects as directed.

  • Participates in proper planning and scheduling of work assignments for team members on client engagements or within the team.

  • Works with client's personnel in providing the services necessary to meet client's needs.

  • Demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness in handling client's problems.

• Team Management

  • Can be involved in the recruitment process of other team members through interviews to assess required level of competency for a specific engagement or client. And able to provide recommendations for the final interview with the hiring manager.

  • Demonstrate potential leadership, sound business judgement and administrative capability.

  • Participates actively in staff meetings and professional development work.
