Accounting Associate / Accountant – Permanent / Full-Time
Job Summary
The Accounting Associate is responsible for managing day-to-day client operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processing. The role also ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and assists in preparing financial reports, audits, and other accounting-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day client operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processing
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance and reportorial requirements for SEC, Business Permits, Mayors Permit, and other regulatory bodies
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as cost summaries/analysis, budgets/forecasts, and financial statements
- Prepare, monitor, and file all reportorial requirements for BIR on monthly, quarterly, and annual taxes/clearances
- Assist in preparing documents and reports needed during statutory and other compliance audits
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Experience in handling and dealing with BIR and other government agencies
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
