You will maintain accurate inventory records, track transactions, and support accounting operations to ensure financial accuracy and smooth month-end processes. The role emphasizes inventory valuation, asset tracking, reporting, and close coordination with senior staff.

Qualifications

• Experience as Accounting Clerk or similar role in accounting.
• Fresh graduates welcome; attitude and willingness to learn are valued.
• Experience in inventory accounting or fixed asset management preferred (retail/auto/service).
• Proficient with accounting software and spreadsheets, especially Excel.
• Strong numerical accuracy and ability to reconcile discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain inventory transactions (receipts, disbursements, adjustments).
• Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile variances with records.

About the role

Networx Auto Detailing Corp. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant – Inventory to join our finance team. This is a full-time position based in Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting our accounting operations. You will be responsible for tracking, reconciling, and reporting on inventory and fixed assets, ensuring our financial records remain precise and up-to-date. This position is essential to our operational efficiency and financial accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Recording and maintaining inventory transactions, including receipts, disbursements, and adjustments in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
• Performing regular physical inventory counts and reconciling variances between physical counts and system records
• Assisting in the valuation and classification of inventory items using appropriate costing methods
• Tracking and documenting fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation schedules
• Preparing inventory reports and providing analysis to support management decision-making
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation for audit purposes and regulatory compliance
• Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes related to inventory and fixed assets
• Identifying and investigating discrepancies in inventory records and recommending corrective actions
• Assisting with general accounting duties as required and supporting senior accounting staff

What we're looking for

• Relevant experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role, preferably in the Accounting industry

• Proven experience in inventory accounting, fixed asset management, or a related accounting role, ideally within a retail, automotive, or service-based industry
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and reconcile discrepancies accurately
• Sound knowledge of inventory management principles, valuation methods, and accounting standards
• Solid numeracy skills and comfort working with financial data and figures
• Effective organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication abilities and capability to work collaboratively with team members across departments
