Job summary

BDO Network Bank seeks an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises who will actively solicit microfinance loan accounts, assess applicants, and coordinate processing to meet loan targets while maintaining credit quality and outstanding customer service.

The role requires willingness to work in Echague, Benito Soliven, Alicia, San Mateo, Ilagan, and Delfin Albano Isabela and may prefer candidates with field sales experience and a motorcycle license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course.
• Possesses good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Preferably familiar with computer software including word processing & spreadsheets.
• With fieldwork and sales experience on Microfinance, an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle.
• Willing to be assigned in Echague, Benito Soliven, Alicia, San Mateo, Ilagan, and Delfin Albano Isabela.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer.
• Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts.
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients.
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets.
