Job summary

ECLOF Philippines Microfinance, Inc. in Rizal invites applications for an Account Officer to manage and grow our SME loan portfolio. You will acquire clients, evaluate and process loans, monitor accounts, and handle collections while maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Business, Finance, or related field with 2–3 years’ relevant experience in lending or microfinance; strong analytical and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant work experience in banking, microfinance or lending.
• Graduate in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience in marketing financial products or microfinance is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of credit evaluation, loan processing and collections is an advantage.
• Familiarity with collateral processes is preferred.
• Creative, results-oriented and able to build strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Achieve targets for client generation, loan portfolio growth, and portfolio quality.
• Conduct market assessment and identify potential SME clients.
• Evaluate loan applications, including credit, background, business, financial, and cash flow analysis.
• Process loan applications, documentation, and disbursement.
• Monitor loan utilization, repayments, and portfolio quality.
• Handle collections, delinquent accounts, and account resolutions.
• Conduct client and collateral/property investigations and appraisals.
• Prepare and present loan applications for approval.
• Maintain accurate client and collateral records.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
• Prepare necessary reports and perform other related duties.
