A leading community bank in the Philippines is looking for an Account Officer for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. This role focuses on achieving loan volume targets and ensuring good customer service. Key responsibilities include soliciting microfinance loans, analyzing applicant qualifications, and executing marketing activities. Ideal candidates are degree holders with strong selling and communication skills, basic math knowledge, and preferably familiar with relevant software. Experience in microfinance sales is an advantage.

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course.
• Possesses good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Preferably familiar with computer software including word processing & spreadsheets.
• Experience with fieldwork and sales in microfinance is an advantage.
• Preferably able to drive a motorcycle.

Job Summary

The Account Officer for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises is responsible for achieving loan volume targets while maintaining profitability, sound credit quality, and good customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer.
• Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts.
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients.
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course / Bachelor's Degree holder.
• Possesses good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Preferably familiar with computer software including word processing & spreadsheets.
• Experience with fieldwork and sales in microfinance is an advantage.
• Preferably able to drive a motorcycle.
