We are looking for an Account Officer to manage and grow our Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) loan portfolio. The role involves client acquisition, loan evaluation and processing, account monitoring, collections, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve targets for client generation, loan portfolio growth, and portfolio quality.
Conduct market assessment and identify potential SME clients.
Evaluate loan applications, including credit, background, business, financial, and cash flow analysis.
Process loan applications, documentation, and disbursement.
Monitor loan utilization, repayments, and portfolio quality.
Handle collections, delinquent accounts, and account resolutions.
Conduct client and collateral/property investigations and appraisals.
Prepare and present loan applications for approval.
Maintain accurate client and collateral records.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
Prepare necessary reports and perform other related duties.
Qualifications
Graduate of Business, Finance, Marketing, or any related course.
At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in marketing financial products, lending, or microfinance operations is preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of credit evaluation, loan processing, and collection is an advantage.
Familiarity with legal, litigation, and collateral processes is preferred.
Creative, results-oriented, and able to build strong client relationships.
