Job summary

BDO Network Bank in the Philippines seeks an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to drive loan volume while preserving credit quality and customer service. You will solicit loan accounts through field visits, assess applicant qualifications, initiate credit and collection activities, and coordinate with units to process applications.

Daily field work and strong math, selling and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course.
• Must have good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Field work / field daily work is required.
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Familiar with word processing and spreadsheets.
• Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.
• Motorcycle driving is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts by field visits.

Job Summary

The Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is responsible for achieving loan volume targets while maintaining profitability, sound credit quality, and good customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts by doing field visits to meet the business needs of the customer
• Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course / Bachelor's Degree Holder
• Possesses good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must be amenable to doing field work / working on the field on an almost daily basis
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Preferably familiar with computer software including word processing & spreadsheets .
• With fieldwork and sales experience on Microfinance, an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle
