Job summary

BDO Network Bank in the Philippines is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to achieve loan volume targets while maintaining profitability, sound credit quality, and excellent customer service.

You will actively solicit microfinance loan accounts through field visits, assess applicant qualifications, initiate credit and collection activities, coordinate processing, and support loan booking and client servicing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree holder in any four- or five-year course.
• Strong selling, communication, and customer service skills.
• Willingness to do field work on a daily basis; basic math knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts by field visits.
• Analyze overall loan applicants' qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts.
• Coordinate with concerned officers/units for processing and servicing of loan applications.
• Review and update customer loan files and loan agreements to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking.
• Execute sales and marketing activities to achieve volume targets.

Job Summary

The Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is responsible for achieving loan volume targets while maintaining profitability, sound credit quality, and good customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts by doing field visits to meet the business needs of the customer
• Analyze overall loan applicant's qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course / Bachelor's Degree Holder
• Possesses good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must be amenable to doing field work / working on the field on an almost daily basis
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Preferably familiar with computer software including word processing & spreadsheets.
• With fieldwork and sales experience on Microfinance, an advantage.
