Job summary

BDO Network Bank in the Philippines is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to drive loan growth while maintaining profitability and credit quality. You will deliver excellent customer service and coordinate with processing units to service loan applications.

The role requires strong selling and communication skills, basic math, and familiarity with word processing and spreadsheets.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course.
• Strong selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Basic mathematical knowledge.
• Familiar with word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Fieldwork or sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.
• Valid motorcycle driving skills preferred.
• Willing to be assigned in Sanchez Mira, Amulung, Gattaran, Allacapan, Claveria and Aparri.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet customer needs.
• Analyze applicants to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality.
• Coordinate with officers and units for processing and servicing of loan applications and clients.
• Review and update loan files and agreements for credit processing and booking.
• Execute sales and marketing activities to achieve volume targets.

Job Summary

The Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is responsible for achieving loan volume targets while maintaining profitability, sound credit quality, and good customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer
• Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course / Bachelor's Degree Holder
• Possesses good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Preferably familiar with computer software including word processing & spreadsheets.
• With fieldwork and sales experience on Microfinance, an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle
• Willing to be assigned in: Sanchez Mira, Amulung, Gattaran, Allacapan, Claveria and Aparri
