Job summary

BDO Network Bank is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to achieve loan volume targets while maintaining profitability and good credit quality. You will deliver excellent customer service and coordinate across teams to process loan applications.

The role requires a four-year or five-year degree, strong selling and communication skills, and basic math ability. Familiarity with Word/Excel and fieldwork in microfinance is a plus. Motorcycle driving is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduates with a four-year or five-year degree are eligible.
• Good selling, communication and customer service skills are required.
• Basic mathematical knowledge is expected.
• Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software is preferred.
• Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.
• Motorcycle driving ability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet customer needs.
• Analyze loan applicants to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to protect credit quality.
• Coordinate with officers and units for processing and servicing loan applications.
• Review loan files and documents to ensure adequacy for processing and booking.
• Execute sales and marketing activities to achieve volume targets.

Job Summary

The Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is responsible for achieving loan volume targets while maintaining profitability, sound credit quality, and good customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer
• Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course / Bachelor's Degree Holder
• Possesses good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Preferably familiar with computer software including word processing & spreadsheets.
• With fieldwork and sales experience on Microfinance, an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle
