VG SUPPLY CHAIN, INC. in the Philippines is seeking a Logistics Recruiter to source and recruit trucking partners across multiple channels. The role involves negotiating rates using the approved matrix and supporting the Control Tower by securing backup drivers during high-volume periods.
You will maintain strong relationships with transport partners, participate in partner and 3PL meetings, and monitor performance against service metrics while ensuring adherence to SOPs and QMS requirements.
Sources and recruits potential trucking partners through environmental scanning, referrals, social media platforms, exhibits, conventions, auctions, and other relevant channels.
Negotiates trucking rates with prospective business partners based on the approved subcontractor rate matrix.
Supports the Control Tower Section in sourcing additional backup truckers during periods of increased operational volume.
Consolidates truckers' issues and concerns and escalates them to the immediate supervisor for appropriate action.
Develops and maintains positive working relationships with all transport business partners.
Participates in meetings with business partners and local 3PL providers to discuss operational concerns and opportunities for improvement.
Consolidates RFS reports and monitors overall performance based on established lead time standards and service metrics.
Coordinates with Local 3PLs to facilitate the timely resolution and closure of truckers' concerns, inquiries, and complaints through proper channels and due process.
Conducts audits and inspections, including fleet inspections, garage audits, and document reviews, to ensure compliance with company standards.
Ensures the complete, accurate, and timely endorsement of accreditation requirements to the DSC Team.
Assists Branch 3PLs in the rollout and implementation of projects, programs, and operational initiatives.
Reviews and validates compliance with accreditation requirements prior to endorsement to the 3PL Documentation Clerk for monitoring and documentation updates.
Ensures adherence to all established standard operating procedures, policies, and work instructions.
Prepares and submits all required reports and monitoring documents accurately and within prescribed timelines.
Supports the implementation and compliance of Quality Management System (QMS) requirements across assigned areas of responsibility.
Provides coaching and guidance to team members while monitoring individual and team performance against established KPIs.
Addresses and resolves team concerns, operational challenges, and issues through effective problem-solving and root cause analysis.
Promotes and ensures compliance with workplace safety standards and immediately reports incidents or accidents, whether on-site or on-road, with proper documentation.
Contributes to overall team objectives by completing assigned tasks and supporting departmental initiatives as needed.
Responds to telephone calls, emails, and other inquiries promptly, professionally, and courteously.
Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time.QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of any four-year course
Minimum of one (1) year job-related experience
Computer literate, knowledgeable in computer programs, good in planning, and problem-solving
Above average communication and presentation skills
