Job summary

Virtusa Corporation seeks a seasoned ServiceNow Engineer to design and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and internal on-prem systems (AD, legacy tools, monitoring, email gateways). You will own data migration, testing, go-live support, and documentation.

Expect hands-on development in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST/SOAP, and SQL, with focus on ITSM processes and on-prem architecture. You will coordinate with IT teams to ensure 24/7 availability, contribute to runbooks, and enable knowledge

Qualifications

Minimum 6–8 years of progressive experience in IT Service Management and IT Operations.
Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience configuring, customizing, and administering the platform.
Proven on-prem ServiceNow deployments including MID Server topologies and local security configurations.
Strong development skills: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, AngularJS, REST/SOAP, and SQL.
Hands-on integration experience with AD/LDAP, monitoring tools, and third-party IT tools.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain REST/SOAP web service integrations between ServiceNow and internal on-premises systems.
Extract, transform, and import legacy data using Import Sets, Transform Maps, and staging tables.
Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and support UAT; log defects and release notes.
