Service Technician-AWP

Job summary

Zoomlion is seeking a service engineer in Muscat to maintain, repair and overhaul mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment on-site. The role includes periodic servicing of a broad range of lifting and access machinery and driving safe, compliant service delivery.

You will diagnose faults, support customers, manage spare parts and inventory, and coordinate with the regional service network to ensure timely field service and data collection.

Qualifications

• Graduate or diploma holder in Automotive preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in the same industry.
• Experience with Engineering Machinery/Heavy Equipment preferred; knowledge of local region is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to find out, adjust, repair or overhaul the mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Carry out periodic maintenance of the heavy equipment machinery such as Manlifts, Telehandlers, Scissor Lifts (Electric & Hydraulic Drive), Manlifts (Electric & Hydraulic Drive), Spider Lifts, Full-Electric Scissor Lifts, AC/AC-Li Series Scissor Lifts, HA/HA-Li Series Scissor Lifts, HD/HD-Li Series Scissor Lifts, Crawler Scissor Lifts and Rough Terrain Scissor Lifts
• CraneTest mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper functioning and compliance
• Provide technical support to customers and maintain amicable client relations
• Ensure that work is undertaken in a safe manner and that practices conform to safety regulations and procedures
• Prompt action on calling for service implementation - On-site fault handling, rapid response to client service, field service
• Central warehouse order processing management
• Spare parts inventory management and organization of overstock planning
• Follow on regular distribution order plan once issued
• Regional spare parts sales and payment management
• Training and guidance for the service system
• Collection and inspection of service data
• Inventory vehicle management with new machine receiving inspection
• Spare parts organization, shipping, quality assurance, used spare parts management

Other Requirements:

• Graduate or a relevant college diploma holder (preferably in Automotive)
• Experience: 1 to 3 years in same industry

Candidates with experience in Engineering Machinery/Heavy Equipment Machinery (Loader Crane, Truck Crane, Crawler Crane, Rough Terrain Crane, All Terrain Crane, Telescopic Crawler Crane) industry will be preferred, familiarity with local region
