Job summary

Dewan Consultants is urgently hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic based in Al Buraymi, Oman. This role involves maintenance and repair of cranes, loaders, and other heavy construction machinery, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience, preferably with brands like CAT and Volvo, with a strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems. A diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance of cranes, loaders, or heavy construction equipment.
• Good knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and troubleshooting diagrams.

Responsibilities

We are urgently hiring a Heavy Equipment - Mechanic for Saudi-based Manufacturing company.

Position

Heavy Equipment Mechanic Cranes & Loaders

Job Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhauling of heavy equipment such as cranes, loaders, forklifts, and other construction machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults in heavy equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as per maintenance schedules.
• Inspect engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, hydraulic systems, and other components.
• Replace defective parts, components, and systems using proper tools and equipment.
• Conduct testing and ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently after repairs.
• Maintain service records, repair reports, and daily maintenance logs.
• Follow company safety procedures and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and operators regarding equipment conditions and repair requirements.
• Attend emergency breakdowns at site locations when required.

Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 35 years of experience in maintenance of cranes, loaders, or heavy construction equipment.
• Good knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and troubleshooting diagrams.
• Experience with brands such as CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, Liebherr, Tadano, Grove, or similar will be an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to work under site conditions.
• Basic English communication skills preferred.

Salary

Salary: SAR 2500 - 3000 + Food 300 + AT provided by Company.
