Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support our Fire Protection and Security Systems business in Oman. Based in Oman, you will join the Oil & Gas Sales-Contracting team and help expand our footprint with customers in the region.

You will develop opportunities end-to-end, shape customer solutions, and coordinate tendering activities for fire protection, fire detection, and security systems, leveraging technical and commercial skills to win strategic deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record in Oman for fire & gas, fire protection, and security systems in the oil & gas sector.
• Ability to design technical solutions and advise customers on best-fit solutions.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Valid Oman Driving License.

Responsabilités

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support our Fire Protection and Security Systems business in Oman region. Based in Oman, you will join the Sales-Contracting Team (Oil & Gas) and help expand our footprint and customer base in support of our growth objectives.

Role Overview

In this role, you will combine technical understanding with sales execution to develop opportunities, shape customer solutions, and support the tendering and bidding process for fire protection and security systems in the oil and gas sector.

What will you do

• Identify, qualify, pursue, and close new sales opportunities across Oman.
• Prepare competitive, high-quality proposals that address customer requirements, project scope, and commercial expectations.
• Support tendering and bidding activities through technical and commercial coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Position Johnson Controls through strong knowledge of fire protection, fire detection, fire & gas, and security systems.
• Use market awareness to understand competitor offerings, strategies, and positioning, and respond effectively during the sales cycle.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships with a focus on territory growth and repeat business.
• Work closely with engineering, sales, and contracting teams to support solution design, customer engagement, and deal progression.

• Ability to design technical solutions, select equipment, and advise customers on the best-fit solution.
• Sound business and technical knowledge.
• High-energy, results-driven approach with a strong sales mindset.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Valid Oman Driving License.
