Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Muscat is seeking a Lobby Attendant - Residences to join the Residences team. You will ensure a warm welcome for residents and guests, deliver tailored service with grace, and support the Concierge and Residences leadership in daily operations.

You will uphold Mandarin Oriental standards, maintain grooming and professional appearance, and work across shifts, including nights, to ensure seamless experiences for residents and guests in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in all aspects.
• Must be comfortable with any shift work, including nights.
• Fluent in English is mandatory; additional languages are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with all departments to ensure guest and resident satisfaction at all times.
• Maintain grooming and professional appearance according to Mandarin Oriental standards.
• Follow standard operating procedures and desk-based processes.
• Keep accurate records of guest and resident requests and tasks and communicate updates to colleagues.
• Greet guests, residents and visitors by name when possible in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain up-to-date informational databases.
• Support Concierge team to ensure service consistency.
• Prepare daily reports including arrivals, departures, handovers and deliveries.
• Handle keys, pass keys and radios securely and log access to Resident units.
• Assist with directions and gate access for residents’ guests and deliveries.
• Notify owners and tenants of upcoming tasks and activities via letters.
• Receive and dispatch mail, packages and deliveries promptly.
• Attend shift briefings and adhere to Health & Safety rules.
