Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Muscat is seeking a Server to join our Food and Beverage team. You will be responsible for delivering exemplary service, maintaining high standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a luxury setting.

Experience in a luxury property and fluency in English are preferred. Arabic is a plus, and you should be able to manage orders efficiently while upholding our Legendary Quality Standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English is essential; Arabic skills are a plus.
• Experience as a Server in a luxury property is preferred.
• Ability to operate the software system to process orders efficiently.
• Strong understanding of F&B concepts to effectively communicate with guests.

Responsibilities

• Ensure uniform and personal grooming meet luxury standards.
• Complete mise en place and service efficiently.
• Know the menu and wine list to answer guest questions.
• Greet guests and build rapport for guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
• Prepare VIP amenities per standards.
• Ensure service steps meet quality standards.
• Present dishes per hotel standards and F&B specs.
• Upsell services to guests to enhance experience and revenue.
• Handle billing according to policies.
• Report guest feedback to management promptly.
• Assist with clearing tables and rotating service ware.
• Count and manage linen on a rota basis.
• Collaborate with colleagues and provide support.
• Perform any additional duties as required by management.
