Job summary

gu-recruitment is seeking a Hot Kitchen Commis III to support the team in a busy kitchen environment in Oman. The role involves preparing and cooking hot dishes, maintaining high hygiene standards, and following recipes under supervision.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a hot kitchen, GCC experience, and good English communication. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is expected as per business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hot kitchen.
• GCC experience is mandatory
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Preferably available immediately and, if applicable, currently in Oman and ready for visa transfer. Must communicate in English.
• Availability on nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of hot food items while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety.
• Work under the supervision of the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, or Kitchen-in-Charge.
• Support daily hot kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, keeping workstation clean, and ensuring proper food handling.
