Job summary

Job Description

The Hot Kitchen Commis II is responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of hot food items while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety. Under the guidance and supervision of the Chef de Partie or Kitchen-in-Charge, the Commis II supports the daily operations of the hot kitchen and ensures that workstations are clean, organized, and ready for food production. The role involves visually inspecting, selecting, and using only ideal cooking food items for all menu items.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of hot kitchen experience
• GCC experience (Mandatory)
• Preferably available immediately
• Currently in Oman and ready to transfer visa
• Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s trading area, English is a must.
• Availability on nights, weekends and holidays is also usually required if necessary or according to the business needs.
