Job summary

Pure planet in Muscat, Oman, is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Operations role. You will assist in daily kitchen prep, cook menu items from approved recipes, and maintain proper portioning and presentation to ensure consistency during service.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience in cafes, restaurants or hotels and a culinary diploma. You will follow HACCP, help with inventory, and support senior chefs in a busy kitchen.

Qualifications

• Culinary diploma or relevant kitchen training preferred.
• 2–3 years minimum experience as Cook/Commis 1 in cafes, restaurants, hotels or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily kitchen preparation and food production.
• Prepare and cook menu items according to approved recipes and standards.
• Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and consistency of all dishes.
• Support the Head Chef and Pastry Chef during service periods.
• Maintain smooth kitchen operations during high-volume periods.
