The mission of the Wireless Power Technology team is to create the world’s best Wireless Charging user experience by inventing state-of-the-art technologies. We develop effortless and safe Wireless Charging designs that are central to Apple’s products, including the iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods. Our team fosters a collaborative and hands-on environment that promotes engineering excellence, creativity, and innovation. We design, develop, and launch next-generation Wireless Power Technologies in Apple products.
You will be developing and designing wireless power systems, meeting high standards for analysis and manufacturing discipline. You will work with cross-functional teams to pass all specifications and requirements necessary to ship a product. Responsibilities include writing requirements, specifications, and test plans for hardware and firmware; defining factory tests and limits; performing failure analysis and corrective actions; and guiding the development of algorithms, state-transition diagrams, and analysis for various operational regimes. Up to 20% travel may be required.
