Tonkin + Taylor is seeking Water + Wastewater Engineers or Hydraulic Modellers to join our team in New Zealand. You will contribute to planning, modelling and design across water supply and wastewater networks, helping clients understand current performance and future needs.

We value practical, curious engineers, strong technical foundations, and a willingness to learn. This full-time role offers variety across planning, modelling and delivery with opportunities to grow client relationships.

Competenze

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Clear ability to communicate technical information.
• Collaborative approach and sound professional judgement.
• Experience in network modelling, hydraulic analysis, infrastructure planning, strategies or design.
• Ability to interpret and quality-check engineering, GIS, and asset data.

Mansioni

• Contribute to water supply and wastewater projects from planning and assessment through to delivery.
• Develop, update and review hydraulic network models.
• Assess network performance, capacity and resilience.
• Support growth planning and infrastructure investment decisions.
• Develop network strategies and masterplans.
• Investigate constraints and evaluate improvement options.
• Contribute to concept, preliminary and detailed design work.
• Prepare reports, calculations and other technical deliverables.
• Work closely with clients, project teams and technical specialists.
• Contribute to proposals, project planning and business development activities.
• Share knowledge and help grow T+T's water planning, modelling and design capability.
