Job summary
Tonkin + Taylor in New Zealand is seeking Water + Wastewater Engineers or Hydraulic Modellers to join our team, helping clients plan, model and design resilient water networks across Aotearoa. You’ll work across planning, modelling and infrastructure assessments, identifying constraints and supporting investment decisions.
Nobody arrives with experience across every aspect, but strong technical foundations and a willingness to learn are valued as you grow with our team and take on more
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil, Environmental, Water Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum three years' experience in water or wastewater design, hydraulic modelling, or a related field.
- Experience in consultancy or local government is a plus.
- Experience with network modelling, hydraulic analysis, infrastructure planning, or design.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to water supply and wastewater projects from planning through to delivery.
- Develop, update and review hydraulic network models.
- Assess network performance, capacity and resilience.
- Support growth planning and infrastructure investment decisions.
- Develop network strategies and masterplans.
- Prepare reports and technical deliverables.
- Collaborate with clients, project teams and specialists.
