Job summary

Mitre 10 is seeking two Trade Account Managers to drive sales and grow our trade customer base at our Building Materials Distribution Centre in Porirua/Upper Hutt. You will actively present products to clients, maintain strong relationships and deliver outstanding service.

A driving license and strong sales background are essential. Two full-time opportunities include a fixed-term maternity cover and a permanent role.

• Proven sales record in account management, preferably in building, timber or construction
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Ability to develop existing accounts and identify new business opportunities
• Good time management, numerical accuracy and IT skills

A bit about the role…

We are looking for an Account Manager with a proven sales record, ideallywithin the building, timber or construction industry, to drivesales, grow our trade customer base and deliver outstanding service to ourcustomers. You will actively present products and services to existing andpotential clients, maintaining operational excellence while growing our strongcustomer base.

As an Account Manager you'll be rewarded with a competitivesalary, a vehicle, staff discount, and other incentives.

We have two full-time opportunities available:

• One 12-month fixed-termrole covering maternity leave.
