Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Mt Wellington in Auckland is seeking an experienced Trade Representative to grow our trade business across Auckland. This role is field-based, requiring you to visit customers, understand their needs and offer tailored product solutions, while building strong relationships with existing and new trade customers.

You will work closely with the Trade team and store colleagues to deliver outstanding customer experiences, identify opportunities, and drive growth in the Auckland market.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience within the building, construction, retail or allied industries.
• Proven success in sales, account management or business development.
• Strong knowledge of building products and the trade customer environment.
• A genuine passion for building relationships and delivering outstanding customer service.
• The ability to identify opportunities, influence outcomes, and close sales.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• A self-motivated, results-driven approach with a focus on achieving growth targets.
• A clean, full New Zealand driver's licence.
