Job summary

Belron New Zealand is seeking an Autoglass Technician at our Penrose site in Auckland. You will repair, replace and recalibrate vehicle glass using cutting-edge tools while delivering excellent workmanship and service.

We provide comprehensive on‑the‑job training toward a National Certificate in Automotive Reglazing (Level 3) NZQF, plus ongoing development and opportunities for overseas assignments within the Belron group.

Qualifications

• Motivated with hands-on interest and detail orientation.
• No prior Autoglass repair experience needed; comprehensive training provided.
• Excellent customer service mindset and strong English communication.

Location: Smith & Smith Penrose

Hours: 40 hours, rostered across Monday - Sunday.

What we’re looking for

• Motivated people with a passion for hands‑on work, and a genuine interest in advancing technical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• No prior Autoglass repair and replacement experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive training.
• A passion for exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to upsell value-added products and services.
• Physical capability to repetitively lift heavy items (up to 25kg) during a normal working day.
• A clean driver's license (restricted or full class) is a minimum requirement.
• You must have unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.
• The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre‑employment drug and alcohol screening test.
