Job summary

Belron New Zealand in Napier is seeking an Autoglass Technician to repair, replace and recalibrate vehicle glass using cutting‑edge tools and technology. You’ll be the face of our service, delivering expert advice and top‑level customer care.

Training is provided, including a National Certificate in Automotive Reglazing (Level 3), with paid development and potential overseas assignments. Location: Napier; Hours: 30 per week; you’ll join a supportive team with strong focus on growth and quality

Qualifications

• Training provided; no prior Autoglass repair experience required.
• Must have a clean driver’s licence (restricted or full).
• Unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg during shifts.

You’ll also be the face of our service, working directly with customers to provide expert advice, offer value-added products, and ensure every interaction is a great one. Location: Smith&Smith Napier Hours: 30 hours, rostered across Monday - Sunday

What we’re looking for

• Motivated people with a passion for hands-on work, and a genuine interest in advancing technical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• No prior Autoglass repair and replacement experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive training.
• A passion for exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to upsell value-added products and services.
• Physical capability to repetitively lift heavy items (up to 25kg) during a normal working day.
• A clean driver's license (restricted or full class) is a minimum requirement.
• You must have unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand.
• The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test.
